A writer by trade, Tiffany Narron is a creative spirit living minimally in the mountains of North Carolina. It was just over a year and a half ago that she decided to part ways with years of books and dishes, fabrics and collected odds and ends to condense her belongings into a 250 square foot tiny house on wheels. Not long after purchasing her new abode, she took flight to Guatemala with only a backpack in tow and spent the next two weeks exploring the cities and countryside there and in Belize before returning home to re-organize and downsize her life. In this discussion, she'll share her personal journey in downsizing and go over important aspects to keep in mind if you're considering making a needed shift to downsize and de-clutter yourself. The conversation will cover: tips for de-cluttering, considerations for tiny house living (water treatment and plumbing, city ordinances, composting toilet pros/cons) , we'll make a list of the things we'd like to cut ties with in our personal spaces and create a mental action plan for doing so then close by drawing up a dream tiny house of your own for fun. Whether you're interested in downsizing or making a full shift to living small, let's get together and talk about living lighter.
