Lauren lives in the woods in Berea, Kentucky where she is working to set up a medicinal herb sanctuary and her new herbalism business, Resilient Roots. She has a M.S. in Therapeutic Herbalism from Maryland University of Integrative Health, is a member of the American Herbalists Guild and United Plant Savers, and an organizer of The Kentucky Herbalism Alliance and The Whippoorwill Festival. She offers educational workshops, organically-grown medicinal herb products, and clinical herbal consultations with a mission to make herbal medicine affordable and accessible to all.
Lauren's class will cover information about plant medicine, therapeutic herbalism, and native plant conservation. She will share how to make tinctures and salves with common herbs or wild growing native Kentucky plants and flowers.
