Photographer Jennifer Martin - Goddess Portrait Sessions

Jennifer is often seen at music shows and gatherings where the heavy hitters of creativity mingle. Camera in hand, armed with a good eye, lots of skill, and impeccable timing, she  regularly documents some of the most acclaimed musicians of our time. Her dedication recently secured her spot in Louisville's Photo Archives show as one of only 20  photographers who have captured Louisville’s vibrant underground music scene over the last 40 years.

A deeply creative soul, she also captures beautiful, dreamlike images of her daily life and the humans that pass though her sphere of perception. Her recent exhibition, Untethered, at Surface Noise Gallery in Louisville featured 30 new pieces of these such works.

In Jennifer's words,
"I use photography as a means of self-expression – I make pictures for myself, to identify with hidden qualities of my character, to better understand my reality, and to express my interpretation of the world around me. A clearer understanding of myself and of my world allow me to explore fragments of life as an abstract form, and also to interact with people and things I would otherwise not be able to engage with. My goal is to use my camera like to open an unexplored world, a place of curious self-expression, but also a world of new relationships, new chances, new beginnings and most importantly new stories."

This is an opportunity to let your inner goddess be seen and to be artistically photographed by a lovely soul with a gift for capturing  energy, essence, and sublime glimpses in time.

(Examples of goddess portraits coming soon.)

We will have a rack of scarves, wraps, feathers, flowers headbands, and such available you wear for your photo shoot, but if you have something special that makes you feel divine when you wear it, by all means bring it with you.

You'll be in good hands.
